In 1989, he started his own business in UK and registered a company having the name of Indus Waisa Transport. Major activities consisted of transportation services on lorry and HGV trucks. Moreover, this company was involved in export of used trucks and trailer’s spare parts and heavy machinery. In 2001, Mr. Idris purchased a company with the name of Al Jazeera General Land Transport L.L.C in Dubai, UAE and started transportation services via Lorry trucks and low bed trailers. This company is the biggest transporter of Ashoke Leyland buses LLC UAE throughout the gulf countries. In 2004 he established one more company in Dubai, UAE named Island City Trading L.L.C, core activities comprised of import and local sale of new spare parts from china and used heavy trucks and trailers from Europe and U.K. In 2006, he established a trailers manufacturing company named Al Jazeera City Trailers Industries LLC in Ras-al-Khaimah state of U.A.E. This company owns a massive manufacturing factory in UAE, equipped with the latest machinery involved in the process of metal fabrication including bending, pressing, turning, grid blasting, plasma cutting, welding and painting plants etc. Its products include diesel tanks, curtain side trailers, fuel storage tanks, dumpers, car carriers, flat bed trailers, low bed trailer and other related metal body fabrication works. It is manufacturing and selling its products to all gulf countries and Africa. Its client profile include UAE army, Al futtaim Engineering LLC and ARAMCO KSA.
